KARACHI: Target-killers shamelessly carried on with their killings despite crackdown against target-killers by police and Rangers, taking the lives of eight people in past 48 hours in fresh wave of violence.
Police said that the firing incident occurred at Soldier Bazaar, Haidri, Shafiq Morr, Moninabad and Korangi areas in last two days. At least 12 people were also injured in a grenade attack in Lyari.
In the wake of this fresh violence, police and Rangers are on ‘red alert’, with enhanced patrolling and snap-checking.
