ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has established a comprehensive and effective national nuclear security plan which is as per the latest international standards and guidelines.
This was said in the brochure published by Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the second Ministerial Nuclear Security Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
According to the brochure, Pakistan is laying immense stress on making policies to provide transparency about the measures taken by it to secure the national nuclear assets.
It further said that the policies are based on an extensive regulatory framework which governs the security of nuclear material, radioactive substances and the associated facilities.
It further stressed that Pakistan’s nuclear systems are in safe hands and measures to make it stronger are always under constant review. Due to this, we are investing continuously in new technologies and human resources.
It further stated that due to the effective security plans, Pakistan’s nuclear security arrangements have been recognised at the international level.
