LAHORE: Confusion surrounding Pakistan Super League (PSL) final has been cleared out when Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif gave the authorities a green signal to hold the mega event in Lahore.
According to our correspondent, the PM directed authorities to arrange the PSL final in Lahore on March 5.
Earlier, confusion had surrounded the final and it was not clear whether it will be held in UAE or Lahore. However, the situation is almost clear now. Reports said the PM has directed authorities to complete the preparations to holdthe final at Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium.
In this regard, the PM has also directed security agencies to ensure fool proof security for foreign players who will arrive in Lahore from Dubai next week.
A final announcement in this regard will be made by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif who is thoroughly reviewing security measures for PSL.
